Just outside the picturesque Donnersbachwald, in the Schaupp district, lies the small-scale chalet park Riesneralm. The chalet park was built recently and natural materials were used, including lots of wood, giving it a luxurious feel. All chalets have a private (infrared) sauna and can accommodate groups of between 8 and 12 people. The chalet park is located in the middle of the nature of the Donnersbachtal, by a babbling brook and away from the hustle and bustle. An ideal place for a family vacation and to unwind.
About 1.5 km from the chalet park you will find the Riesnerbahn, the chairlift that takes you up to the Riesneralm. You will also find at the valley station a private children's ski area with five runs, elevators and a ski school, ideal for little ski fanatics. Also located at the Riesnerbahn valley station is a ski rental with ski depot, where they also sell some food and a bar/restaurant (open only during the day). A supermarket is located in Donnersbach, about 13 km from the Riesneralm chalets. Close to the chalet park (about 200 meters) you will find a cozy, typically Austrian "Uhrige Hütte" where you can enjoy a drink.
Groups of young people under the age of 25 are not allowed in the Riesneralm chalets.
There is a charging facility for electric cars at a local rate.
On the first floor entrance with toilet. Cozy living room with sitting area, television and dining table. Open kitchen with, among other things, hotplates, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, toaster, coffee maker (filter + cups) and kettle. Access to the terrace. Bathroom with shower and sauna. Separate toilet.
On the second floor four bedrooms, two each with a double bed and two each with a double bed and single bed. Two bathrooms, each with a shower and toilet.
Furthermore, the chalet has a washing machine, dryer and ski boot dryers. There are two parking spaces at the chalet. For a fee it is possible to charge an electric car.
The chalet is still under construction and is expected to be completed in October 2022. The images shown are therefore impression photos.
