Just outside the picturesque Donnersbachwald, in the Schaupp district, lies the small-scale chalet park Riesneralm. The chalet park was built recently and natural materials were used, including lots of wood, giving it a luxurious feel. All chalets have a private (infrared) sauna and can accommodate groups of between 8 and 12 people. The chalet park is located in the middle of the nature of the Donnersbachtal, by a babbling brook and away from the hustle and bustle. An ideal place for a family vacation and to unwind.
About 1.5 km from the chalet park you will find the Riesnerbahn, the chairlift that takes you up to the Riesneralm. You will also find at the valley station a private children's ski area with five runs, elevators and a ski school, ideal for little ski fanatics. Also located at the Riesnerbahn valley station is a ski rental with ski depot, where they also sell some food and a bar/restaurant (open only during the day). A supermarket is located in Donnersbach, about 13 km from the Riesneralm chalets. Close to the chalet park (about 200 meters) you will find a cozy, typically Austrian "Uhrige Hütte" where you can enjoy a drink.
Groups of young people under the age of 25 are not allowed in the Riesneralm chalets.
On the first floor entrance with toilet. Cozy living room with sitting area, fireplace, television and dining table. Open kitchen with hotplates, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, toaster, coffee maker (filter + cups) and kettle. From the living room access to the terrace. There is also a relaxation area with bath/shower, infrared sauna and deck chairs. Washing machine and dryer.
On the second floor four bedrooms, two with a double bed each, one with a double bed and television and one with a double bed and double sofa bed. Two bathrooms, each with a shower and toilet.
The chalet has private parking for one car. There are also three outdoor parking spaces and the chalet has a ski storage room and Wi-Fi internet connection.
