Just outside the picturesque Donnersbachwald, in the Schaupp district, lies the small-scale chalet park Riesneralm. The chalet park was built recently and natural materials were used, including lots of wood, giving it a luxurious feel. All chalets have a private (infrared) sauna and can accommodate groups of between 8 and 12 people. The chalet park is located in the middle of the nature of the Donnersbachtal, by a babbling brook and away from the hustle and bustle. An ideal place for a family vacation and to unwind.
About 1.5 km from the chalet park you will find the Riesnerbahn, the chairlift that takes you up to the Riesneralm. You will also find at the valley station a private children's ski area with five runs, elevators and a ski school, ideal for little ski fanatics. Also located at the Riesnerbahn valley station is a ski rental with ski depot, where they also sell some food and a bar/restaurant (open only during the day). A supermarket is located in Donnersbach, about 13 km from the Riesneralm chalets. Close to the chalet park (about 200 meters) you will find a cozy, typically Austrian "Uhrige Hütte" where you can enjoy a drink.
Groups of young people under the age of 25 are not allowed in the Riesneralm chalets.
On the first floor entrance hall with toilet. Cosy living room with sitting area, television and dining table. Open kitchen with, among others, hotplates, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, toaster, coffee maker (espresso with filter) and kettle. One bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. Storage room with washing machine, dryer and ski boot warmers.
On the second floor three bedrooms, two with a double bed each and one with two double beds. Two bathrooms, one with two showers and sauna and one with a shower and toilet. Separate toilet.
There is also a terrace. The chalet has two parking spaces.
