Almwelt Austria is a vacation village in itself and is located at 1200 meters altitude. It is located directly on the red slopes so you get on your skis to the Reiteralm I chairlift and Hochwurzen I cabin elevator in no time. The ski bus stops practically in front of the door. There is a ski school at both the valley station and the mountain station of the Reiteralm Silver Jet. The center of Schladming with bars, stores and restaurants can be found about 10 km away.
Almwelt Austria consists of several chalets and a main building with the restaurant Schnepf'n Alm, a reception, game room and bar with sun terrace. There is also a large spa (fee) including saunas, steam bath, infrared cabin, relaxation room, special showers, massage and solarium. There is also a large après-ski hut, this is located on the outskirts of the village, right on the slopes.
On site it is possible to book breakfast, dinner or half board for a fee.
On the first floor is a large stube with sitting area, dining area, television and wood stove. Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, 4-burner stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker. Separate toilet, ski storage room and ski boot dryer. Private wellness with sauna, whirlpool and special shower.
On the second floor are four bedrooms, two of which each have a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. The other two bedrooms each have a double bed, a single bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. All rooms have a balcony.
