Almwelt Austria is a vacation village in itself and is located at 1200 meters altitude. It is located directly on the red slopes so you get on your skis to the Reiteralm I chairlift and Hochwurzen I cabin elevator in no time. The ski bus stops practically in front of the door. There is a ski school at both the valley station and the mountain station of the Reiteralm Silver Jet. The center of Schladming with bars, stores and restaurants can be found about 10 km away.
Almwelt Austria consists of several chalets and a main building with the restaurant Schnepf'n Alm, a reception, game room and bar with sun terrace. There is also a large spa (fee) including saunas, steam bath, infrared cabin, relaxation room, special showers, massage and solarium.
