The cosy winter sport village Serfaus forms together with its neighbouring villages, Fiss and Ladis, Tirol’s Ski dimension Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. Serfaus is located at an altitude of 1427 metres, with great snow-certainty. Serfaus presents modern innovative facilities while remaining its authenticity. In the village there are three cable cars departing into the variable ski area: the Komperdellbahn - this lift leads to the middle station where you will directly reach the meeting point of the ski school of Serfaus and where you take the Lazid Bahn to the Masner area. The second cable-car is the Alpkopfbahn - this lift leads to the Bärenpiste and to the challenging red ski run leading down to the village of Serfaus. The third cable-car is the Sunnliner, leading in the direction of Fiss and from where you can explore the area of Fiss and Ladis or ski back to the village of Serfaus.

In the village of Serfaus is car free so you can fully enjoy the peace and quiet inside the village. You will have the option to do everything by foot or you can take the underground metro (U-Bahn). This metro departs from the entrance of the village (Parkplatz) to the municipality of Serfaus, the village centre and will lead to the cable-cars departure station. During the high season it can be very busy at the metro, which makes it sometimes easier to just walk to the cable-cars. Upon arrival- and departure days you may drive to your accommodation to drop-off luggage. Free parking is available at the entrance of the village. For an additional fee there is also an indoor parking garage.
The ski area of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis offers great variety and is therefore very suitable area for winter sport lovers from each degree. There is a great offer in facilities for children, such as the Kinderschneealm, Murmli park, Dinosaur forest, Animal park etc. Moreover, there is a uniquely built kids restaurant, specially made for children from the ski school (Starrest). For the advanced skiers there is the Pezid-Vertikal slope, with a descent of 60% this slope will be a great challenge.
Snowboarders are offered facilities in the Jib Circus and Progression Circus where one can find a rail park with several obstacles and a mogul slope. Due to the local effort this park is a true high-light, every year! Cross-country skiers can enjoy a trail in the valley and there are several trails on a higher altitude that are truly recommended, offering unique and beautiful views! Moreover, for hikers this area offers great possibilities e.g. a trekking tour can be made from Komperdell to the Möseralm.
Furthermore, this area offers a 4.5 KM sled run, starting from the Komperdell to the valley of Serfaus. This run is also open on Wednesday night, during the Adventure Night - an amazing night show organised by the ski school. At the middle station of the Alpkopf lift you can also find the Familien Coaster Schneisenfeger. This is a toboggan run of 1.5 km on a rail, where you can reach speeds of up to 40 km/h.
Also for the après-ski you can enjoy yourself in Serfaus at e.g. Patschi, George Pub and for a drink in the evening the new bar of Peaks is a recommendation. Furthermore, there are several restaurants, two supermarkets and a large offer in (sport) shops. The village has one ski school, known as one of the larger ski schools in Austria with 380 ski teachers in the high season!
