The three atmospheric villages Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis are situated around the Samnaungruppe and the Ötztaler Alps on a sunny plateau above the Tiroler Oberinntal. These three villages form one ski-area and offer 214 km of slopes, starting at an altitude of 1200 metres and leading to a height of 2828 meters! Because of the high altitude in combination with the modern snow-making machines, the ski area offers a snow guarantee throughout the season (December to April). The ski area of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is known as one of the largest family-friendly destinations in Tyrol - which makes this area perfect for families with children! Several areas, (a total of 140.000 m²), are specially made for children. In these areas one can find Bertas Kinderland, the Kinderschneealm, the Murmli park, Dino wald, animal park, ghost forrest and several kids restaurants. Moreover, there are two ski schools situated in the area (Skischule Serfaus en Skischule Fiss-Ladis) offering many multi-lingual ski instructors. The ski area Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is also an excellent destination for the intermediated and advanced skiers and snowboarders. Most slopes are red and offer a great diversity. For the advanced skiers the Pezid-Vertikal, with a descent of 67%, will be a great challenge. This slope is one of the three steepest runs in Austria! Snowboarders and free-style skiers can challenge themselves in one of the eight Fun Parks and there are also many free-ride areas found in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis.

There is a good offer in aprés-ski facilities available in the area, mostly in the villages of Serfaus and Fiss. There are a number of bars (for example Hexenalm in Fiss and Patschi in Serfaus) and a disco (in Serfaus), but also a trendy Ski-Lounge. Moreover, there are a number of restaurants throughout all three villages offering e.g. atmosphere and an authentic Tyrolean food experience!

Moreover, there is a weekly night program in Serfaus and Fiss. In Serfaus there is every Wednesday night (excluding changes) an Adventure Night - a ski show in combination with dance, music, snow stunts, and fireworks. You can also go night skiing that night (Mittelabfahrt) and sledding (all for an additional fee). On Tuesday night (excluding changes) there will be Nightflow in Fiss (a ski show), you can night ski (Möseralmabfahrt), the Fisser Flieger and Skyswing are opened and there is a Kids Night at family restaurant Sonnenburg. The sledding night in Fiss is on Thursday (all for an additional fee). In addition to these activities, you will find several ‘Wohnfühlstations’ (resting stations with various chairs / sun beds) in the ski area and three beautiful viewpoints: Pezid and Masnerkopf in Serfaus and Zwölferkopf (near the Crystal Cube) in Fiss.

In addition to skiing and snowboarding there are plenty of other winter sports activities offered in the ski area of Serfaus / Fiss / Ladis. There are a total of 30 km of cross country trails situated throughout the ski area that you can also enjoy by foot or even snow-shoes. Other activities in this area are the Fisser Flieger (at the Moseralm), a large kite that flies with a speed up to 80km/hr over the pistes, while you hang underneath. Moreover, also the Skyswing is worth a try, a giant swing for five persons. It is even possible to 'fly' to Serfaus, all the way from Fiss with the Serfauser Sauser. In Serfaus you will find at the middle station of the Alpkopfbahn the toboggan run Familien Coaster Schneisenfeger, this course is 1,5 km long and speeds can run up to 40 km per hour.
