Magnificent chalet at La Villa in Alta Badia near the Sella Ronda

General description

Chalet Picenin is a stylish chalet in the charming village of La Villa. From Chalet Picenin you will discover the ski area of Alta Badia. The beautiful Sella Ronda ski tour runs through this ski area.

The Doninz chairlift is the starting point of your ski day. Once at the top, you ski straight to the Gardenaccia or the Colz chairlifts. The Colz chairlift, which goes in two directions, takes you to the valley station of the Piz La Ila gondola. From here the slopes lead you to Corvara and there you can start the famous Sella Ronda ski tour.

La Villa, Italy, is known for its many traditional Ladin buildings and wooden chalets, giving it an authentic village atmosphere. The chalet is located in the higher part of the village, known as La Villa Alta, and offers stunning views of Ciastel Colz and the peaks of the Dolomites. The center is just 500 meters from the chalet and offers everything you need, from a supermarket and delicious restaurants to cozy bars, ski rental stores and a ski school. You can reach the center on foot; the way back is a tough climb.

Chalet Picenin is the wonderful base for a successful winter sports vacation in the Dolomites. The chalet has free Wi-Fi and parking is available in front of the door. The house is cleaned daily, including clean towels (except Sundays).

The owners also own a hotel in the center (at the valley station of the Doninz elevator about 500 meters from the chalet). You drive here in 2 minutes by car, and can park the car for free in the garage. At the hotel is a ski storage room with ski boot dryer (free for Picenin guests). If you want, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast here (extra charge - reserve on arrival) and then head straight to the slopes. You can also use the wellness area at the hotel, with sauna and infrared cabin (for private use - reservation on site), free of charge. There is also a washing machine (for a fee).

Layout

The chalet is spread over two floors, and the entrance is accessed by a two-step staircase.

On the first floor is a bright living room with cozy sitting area, television and wood stove.
The kitchen with large dining table is fully equipped with an electric stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, toaster, Cremesso coffee maker and dishwasher. There is also a toilet with sink on this floor. Balcony with panoramic views of the Piz la Ila plateau.

On the second floor there are two bedrooms, one with double bed and double sofa bed. The second bedroom has a double bed and television. The bathroom has a shower, bathtub, toilet, bidet and hairdryer.

In the basement, the owners have a yoga room (you can use this on request).
