La Villa is a charming Ladin mountain village with a beautiful historic centre in the heart of Alta Badia. Surrounded by the natural parks Puez-Odle and Fanes-Senes-Braies, which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, La Villa is a popular destination for nature lovers and active holidaymakers. While skiing, you can head to Corvara to start the beautiful ski tour the Sella Ronda.
The Piz La Ila cable car offers skiers perfect access to the plateau between La Villa, San Cassiano and Corvara. Here you will find expertly groomed slopes and breathtaking views, as well as numerous huts serving delicious culinary delights. In December, La Villa hosts the annual Men's Alpine Ski World Cup on the Gran Risa slope, one of the most technically challenging runs in the circuit.
The Alta Badia ski area, located in the south-east of South Tyrol, stretches between 1,400 and 2,778 metres above sea level and is the centre of the Dolomiti Superski region. This location is ideal for exploring the Dolomites on skis and snowboards. Alta Badia offers excellent skiing conditions from late November to mid-April with a varied range of slopes for both beginners and advanced skiers. Here you will enjoy modern and fast ski lifts, plenty of sunshine, warm hospitality and delicious food, all within a beautiful winter landscape.
