Les Ancolies is a small-scale residence at the bottom of the village of Val Thorens. The apartments are located right by the ski slope and the chairlift 3 Vallées 1 (towards Méribel) is about 100 meters away. Good accommodation almost next to Spar, bakery, ski pass store & ski rental. Own ski storage locker and good ski-in/out facility. Biggest drawback for the group with the 8 person apartment was that there was a bunk bed next door, so no screened room (just a curtain). Living room is quite small but with 7 friends fine as long as you are not there all day. Washing machine and dishwasher were nice to have. Plenty of toilets and showers. Quilts were too small for 7 men around 1.90, mattresses were not top, lots of springs poking into your side/back. Otherwise fine apartment!
