The recently built residence Les Ameythistes is situated in a quiet location at the top of the village of Vaujany. At about 150 meters walking distance you will find an escalator. Through this and several escalators you come down in the village, opposite the lifts. By means of two cabin lifts you can be at 2800 meters in about 8 minutes, right in the middle of the Alpe d'Huez - Le Grand Domaine ski area! As there is no valley descent to Vaujany, you can take the gondola lift back to the village.
At only 250 metres walking distance you will find a square with a supermarket, some restaurants/bars and sports shops. Vaujany also has an ESF ski school and a childcare centre. Down in the village there is a sports centre with an indoor skating rink, an indoor swimming pool, wellness facilities and four bowling alleys.
The modern furnished 8-person apartment Les Ameythistes has Wi-Fi and a balcony facing south with a beautiful view of the mountains. Very nice apartment, everything you need is available. Nice showers, everything clean and new. Good beds, the 2 person is a bit on the narrow side for us unfortunately.(140x200)
