Chalet Woodpecker is located in the famous ski village Alpe d'Huez. The 10-seater gondola 'Alpe Express' is located about 200 meters from the chalet and takes you to the challenging ski area Alpe d'Huez - Le Grand Domaine with no less than 250 km. You can also take the bucket-lift, which leaves from the tourist office (about 150 meters), to the other side of the village where the cabin elevator DMC, the chairlift Le Jeux and the assembly point of the ESF ski school are located.
Most facilities can be found within walking distance of the chalet, such as several stores and restaurants. There are also many cozy bars and après-ski venues where you can dance the night away over a drink. One of the most famous bars in the village, Underground Bar, is located only 200 meters from the chalet!
After an intensive day on the slopes you can relax in the communal sauna or whirlpool. Furthermore, the chalet has two parking lots in front of the chalet.
This chalet is spread over three floors.
On the second floor you will find the cozy living room with comfortable seating area, fireplace, television and access to the balcony. Dining area and fully equipped kitchen with a 4-burner stove, refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, Nepresso coffee maker, coffee percolator, toaster, kettle and dishwasher. On this floor you will also find three bedrooms, two with two single beds (which can be pushed together to form a double bed) and one with three single beds. All three bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet.
The first floor has four bedrooms, each with two single beds (which can be joined together to make a double bed) and an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet.
On the ground floor you will find the ski storage room with ski boot warmers and the communal wellness area with sauna and whirlpool.
Furthermore, the chalet has Wi-Fi.
