Chalets de Fontbelle consists of five luxury chalets situated on the slopes of Alpe d'Huez. The DMC gondola lift and the Le Jeux chair lift are about 150 meters away. The DMC cabin lift takes you to an altitude of 2700 meters and has a direct connection to the Pic Blanc. At the valley station of the cabin lift is also the meeting point of the ESF ski school and if pre-booked rental equipment you can pick up here at the shop.
In the immediate vicinity of Chalets de Fontbelle you'll find several restaurants where you can grab a bite to eat. More restaurants and shops can be found in the centre of Alpe d'Huez. You can reach the centre of Alpe d'Huez in about 10 minutes by foot (about 800 metres), or you can take the pedestrian lift down to the centre.
At the end of the day you come via the green slopes back to your chalet where you can relax after all your adventures. Snuggle up with a good book by the fireplace in the living room or relax in the wellness area with sauna and whirlpool of your own chalet. There is a Wi-Fi internet connection, ski storage room with ski boot dryers and a parking garage (reserve in advance, paid).
The chalet is divided over four floors and has the entrance on the ground floor.
On the first floor you will find a nice and luxurious living room with sitting area, fireplace, television and dining table. Fully equipped kitchen with, among others, hotplates, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker (filter + Nespresso) and kettle.
On the ground floor two bedrooms, each with two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with bath and toilet. On the first floor one bedroom with two single beds and en-suite bathroom with bath and toilet. On the second floor three bedrooms, two with two single beds each and en-suite bathroom with bath and toilet and one bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. The seventh bedroom is located on the third floor and has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with bath and toilet. From all bedrooms you have access to the balcony.
On the ground floor you will find the sauna, whirlpool and separate toilet. There is also a ski storage room with ski boot dryers.
