Kaltenbach is an ideal location if you are not looking for vivid night life in particular but you just want a good ski area with a central location in the Zillertal area. The Hochzillertal Gondelbahn (cable car) will bring you to the snow guaranteed Hochzillertal ski area. This ski area is linked with the ski area of Hochfügen by the Wedelexpress so you can take 92 km of slopes.

The fantastic Zillertal Arena (Zell am Ziller, Gerlos, Königsleiten / Hochkrimml) with its 143 km of slopes can be reached via Zell am Ziller which only takes 8 minutes by car or take a ski bus. With the Zillertal Superskipas you can ski in all the ski areas of the Zillertal.
