Gerlos is a destination that suits many of a winter sport lovers’ needs. The ski area is open from December until the end of March and due to the lively atmosphere the village is well-attracted by Dutch and German tourists. For those who experience winter sport for the first time and will start skiing – there are several blue pistes available at the Isskogelbahn. The more experienced skier can enjoy the endless ski-tours in the Zillertal Arena and both Zell am Ziller as Konigsleiten offer challenging runs.
