Chalet Saalach is located in the friendly village of Viehhofen between Saalbach and Zell am See. The practice slopes in Viehhofen are perfect for beginners. The ZellamseeXpress ski elevator is 650 meters away; it takes you to the Schmittenhöhe ski area of Zell am See, where some 77 km of slopes await you. If you prefer to explore a larger ski area, you can take the ski bus or car to the Schönleiten ski elevator at about 5 km; this elevator gives access to the Skicircus Saalbach/ Hinterglemm/ Leogang/ Fieberbrunn with over 270 km of slopes. The ski bus to the Schönleiten ski elevator departs 170 meters from the chalet.
In Viehhofen you have several options for a bite to eat. The nearest restaurant is about 80 meters from the chalet. In Maishofen (ca. 5 km) there are several stores and supermarkets and in Saalbach (ca. 9 km) you will find many cozy après-ski bars.
Chalet Saalach is fully equipped with a private sauna, where you can relax after an active day on the slopes. There is also a ski storage room with ski boot warmers and there are five parking spaces at the chalet.
This chalet is spread over three floors.
First floor:
Living room with large sitting area with sofas, television and cozy fireplace. Typical Austrian dining area with two dining tables. Fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, coffee maker (filter and cups), kettle and dishwasher.
Two bedrooms, one with a double bed and television and one with a double bed. Bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. Separate toilet.
Second floor:
Five bedrooms, each with a double bed and television. Two bathrooms with shower and toilet.
Basement:
One bedroom with five single beds and television. Sauna room with shower. Recreation room with bar, television and table soccer.
There is also a balcony and a laundry room with washer and dryer.
