Wintersport Niederau

Niederau is the largest village of the Wildschönau valley. The Markbachjoch cable-car is situated here and leads to an height of 1500 metres. The village of Niederau is very cosy and is one of the four villages in the Wildschönau valley with a true offer in entertaining night life. Other facilities in the village are shops, restaurants and bars, ski schools and a nursery. Between the four villages there are free ski buses available. In Wörgl, about a 10-minute drive from Niederau, you will find an indoor swimming pool with some wellness facilities.

In the area of the Wildschönau valley cross-country skiers can make beautiful tours – as the trails are interconnected. Hikers can also enjoy the wonderful surrounding when following the available hiking routes. The tourism board organises frequently various hiking tours as well.
