The ski area Ski Arlberg is located on the border between the regions Tyrol and Vorarlberg. This area has extensive and snowy slopes, which are provided with a network of up to 88 lifts and another 23 practice lifts for beginners. There are sufficient opportunities for both the beginning as for the experienced skier. Furthermore, Ski Arlberg has a lot of off-piste activities. The fun parks in this area are ideal for snowboarders.

Ski Arlberg consists of two sub areas. These areas together have 305 km of slopes, which are all accessible with just one ski pass. Since the winter of 2016/2017 both areas have been connected by the Flexenbahn.
Lech-Oberlech-Zürs-Warth-Schröcken
The western part of the ski area is stretched out above the villages of Lech, Zürs and Oberlech. Since the winter of 2013/2014, this part is connected to the Warth-Schröcken ski area, thanks to the 10-seater Auenfeldjet gondola. In total there is 183 km of slopes here.
St. Anton-St. Christoph-Stuben
In the eastern part can be accessed from the vivid ski resort of Sankt Anton and the neighbouring villages of Sankt Jakob, Sankt Christoph and Stuben. In the area you also find a number of smaller resorts like Pettneu am Arlberg.
St. Anton is one of Austria’s oldest winter sport resorts. The resort is above all known to be quite pricey, partly because of the celebrities coming to this place each year. Despite the prices, this place does also attract a lot of ‘normal ‘ people. The nearby villages of St. Christoph and Stuben are a lot less expensive. Those who love an outrageous après ski have found just what they are looking for at Sankt Anton. The centre of St. Anton has many popular places to go out. Lech and Zürs have a couple of excellent restaurants, but also a great après-ski.
Besides the skiing and snowboarding in Ski Arlberg, there are various other activities possible. Pedestrians can make a wonderful tour through the snow and also cross country skiers will enjoy themselves. The ‘Verwall’ trail for example, often seen as one of the most beautiful trails of Austria and therefore certainly worth following. Real adventure-seekers can go heli-skiing. The ski school organizes helicopter flights on regular basis. Furthermore, near St. Anton there is a 4 km long toboggan run.
