Chalet La Scie is located in Morgins, an attractive winter sports village in the enormous French-Swiss ski area Les Portes du Soleil (650 km of slopes). The chalet is located just 550 meters from the chairlift La Foilleuse which takes you in the direction of Champoussin, at this elevator is a large parking lot. At 1.5 kilometers from the chalet is the chairlift Le Corbeau, this elevator takes you to the ski area of Châtel. In good snow conditions it is possible to ski from the chairlift Le Corbeau back to the chairlift La Foilleuse.
Morgins is a pleasant village with all the necessary facilities for a successful winter sports vacation. In the center you will find two small supermarkets, sports stores with ski rentals, several restaurants and (après-ski) bars, childcare, ski schools and an ice skating rink. There is also a practice slope in the village, where the little ones can playfully learn to ski. The center is about 600 meters from the chalet. a very nice authentic chalet, fully equipped. Ski elevator of Morgins is still just within reach to do on foot. But it is also close to the French border to cross through to Chatel.
