The ski area Flims-Laax-Falera is one of the biggest compact ski regions in Graubünden, offering 225 km of slopes. This ski area is very suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers, but also snowboarders and free riders can enjoy this area to the fullest due to the diversity in slopes and off-piste possibilities. With 28 lifts this area features a great overview and is good accessible from each village.

Due to the high altitude of over 3000 meters the ski region Flims-Laax-Falera are snow-sure. Moreover, because of the quantity of artificial snowmaking machines the slopes are constantly in top condition. At the Vorab glacier, situated at an altitude of 3020 meters, one can already enjoy the snow from October onwards. Beginners have a choice out of 18 blue slopes and for advanced skiers there is a broad offer of red and black slopes, which makes this area exciting for skiers of each ski level. Moreover, cross-country skiers and hikers also have a great possibility to experience the fascinating mountainous landscape.
For snowboarders this region has a diverse variety of fun parks, half-pipes and boarder crosses. A true snowboarder paradise is offered and enjoyed already by many. One of the fun parks, ‘Ils Plauns’, is available for freestylers of each level. There is also a mini border cross available for children giving the possibility to learn to ski playfully.
The off-piste possibilities in this area are infinite and are identified on the map in yellow. There are several ski schools that offer specified courses for off-piste skiing and day tours.
The ski area exists out of three villages, Flims, Laax and Falera, who each have their own character. In order to get from one village to the other there are ski busses available.
