La Plagne is one of the most popular ski holiday destinations in France. Together with Les Arcs, it forms the impressive Paradiski ski area, offering no less than 425 kilometers of pistes. From each of the eleven villages that make up La Plagne, you can hop straight onto the lift. Whether you prefer modern ski resorts or charming alpine villages with authentic character – La Plagne offers the perfect mix of comfort, atmosphere, and guaranteed snow.
Whether it’s your first time on skis or you’ve been tackling black runs for years: La Plagne has something for everyone. Beginners can practice on the wide, gentle slopes around Plagne Centre, Plagne Bellecôte, or Montchavin. More experienced skiers head for higher ground, such as the Bellecôte Glacier or the steeper slopes above Aime-la-Plagne, like Le Biolley. For freeriders and off-piste enthusiasts, there are exciting descents on the back side of the glacier.
Thanks to its high altitude and the presence of the Bellecôte Glacier, La Plagne enjoys excellent snow conditions throughout the season. The ski holiday season here often runs well into spring, making it a favorite for both early and late bookers.
La Plagne surprises even beyond the slopes. One of the highlights is the 1.5 kilometer Olympic bobsleigh track, where you’ll experience an adrenaline rush as you're launched down at top speed. Once used during the 1992 Winter Olympics, it’s now open to the public. You can also test your skills at one of two slalom stadiums, where weekly ski races are held for everyone to join.

Thanks to this unique connection, Paradiski is officially among the top 3 largest ski areas in the world.
