La Toussuire is a rustic and sunny village, situated in between the mountains, in the centre of the ski area Les Sybelles. The village mainly has low-rise buildings and chalets, which give it a cozy appearance. The La Toussiere ski area is connected to the Les Sybelles ski area by two ski lifts.

Les Sybelles is a ski area with a total of approx. 310 km of varied slopes. Due to the central location of La Toussuire, both beginners and advanced skiers can enjoy themselves here.
In the centre of La Toussuire there are some intermediate cross-country trails located, connecting to one another. In total there is 25 km of trails available in the village. Hikings can also make use of these trails, but can also try the non-groomed paths to one of the small villages in the surroundings of La Toussuire.
Due to the affordable prices of La Toussuire the area is very loved by the younger generation and snowboarders. However, also families with children are also found in this village. In the centre you will find facilities e.g. restaurants, bars, several shops, supermarkets, day-care, ski schools, ice-ranks, bowling and a cinema. Other winter activities in the area and it surroundings are tobogganing, dog sledding or snow scooter tours.
