The beautiful wood-furnished chalet Les Bucherons has an ideal location just 250 meters from the slopes and the Pré La Joux chairlift. This chairlift (direction Avoriaz) gives you access to the slopes of the huge Les Portes du Soleil ski area. The ski bus stop is 160 meters from the chalet with which you can take line 1 both towards the chairlift of Pré La Joux and towards the center. The nearest restaurants and stores can be found in the center of Châtel, 6 kilometers from the chalet. From the center you can take the Super Châtel cabin elevator into the ski area of the same name to then explore the Swiss part of the Les Portes du Soleil area.
The nice center of Châtel has a lot to offer. You can find several ski schools, several stores, a bakery, restaurants and bars. There is also an indoor pool with various wellness facilities. Lovely to relax after a day on the slopes.
