In picturesque Walchen, near Kaprun, you will find the luxury apartments Tauern Suite. From the apartment it is about 10 minutes by car to the ski area of Kaprun, about 7 km. This ski area is connected to the glacier and offers slopes for every level. It is also possible to ski on the Schmittenhöhe of Zell am See with the ski pass, this ski area is about 8.2 km away from Tauern Suite. Are you with small children who are experiencing snow for the first time? Then the Erlebnisberg Naglköpfl is perfect. On this family mountain, located about 1 km from the apartments, ski lessons are also given and you can sled, among other things.
A small supermarket is located 350 meters away. For a diverse range of stores and restaurants, it is best to go to the center of Kaprun because there are no further shopping opportunities in Walchen.
The Tauern Lodge apartment has a communal sauna room that you share with other guests, as well as the ski storage room with ski boot warmers. You can also use the shared washing machine for a fee and there is a Wi-Fi Internet connection.
There are two parking spaces at the apartment.
