At the edge of Piesendorf lies the Sonnenlodge chalet-apartment with a beautiful view of Kaprun and the Kitzsteinhorn. At about 5 km distance you can take the Maiskogelbahn to the ski area of Kaprun which is connected to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier.
