In the middle of the mountain landscape near Gaislach, at an altitude 2050 meters, you will find Berghütte Kneisl. When staying at this mountain hut you will enjoy the unspoiled nature and the imposing mountain peaks around you. The chalet was renovated in 2019 and has a warm atmosphere. The chalet is furnished with a lot of wood, which creates a typical Austrian chalet feeling. Berghütte Kneisl features an infrared sauna, where you can relax after an active day in the mountains.
The chalet is located just outside the ski area, about 800 meters from the Gaislachalm elevator. This drag elevator connects you to the Heidebahn which takes you into the varied ski area of Sölden. At the end of the day you can ski back to the Gaislachalm elevator. Very experienced skiers can also use a ski route (unprepared, off-piste) down to near the chalet.
The center of Sölden with various stores, ski rentals, restaurants and après-ski venues is located about 6.5 km from Berghütte Kneisl. The chalet has a Wi-Fi internet connection and a heated ski storage room with ski boot dryers.
Due to its location in the mountainous country, the chalet can only be reached in winter with a four-wheel drive car or snow chains. The last 150 meters are only accessible by foot. There are two parking spaces.
This chalet is divided over two floors.
On the ground floor there is a spacious living room with a large sitting area, television, dining area and a fully equipped open kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher and coffeemaker. Large bathroom with a shower and infrared sauna. Separate toilet.
On the first floor there are three bedrooms, two of which have a double bed, bunk beds and access to the balcony. One bedroom with large bunk beds (bottom 140 x 200 cm, top 90 x 200 cm). Bathroom with shower and toilet.
There is also a heated ski storage room with ski boot dryers and a spacious balcony with views.
Although this chalet has more sleeping places, the maximum permitted occupancy is 10 persons.
