Wintersport Westendorf

Traditional Westendorf is a vibrant village with a convenient location opposed to the two ski regions of SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental (284 km of pistes) and KitzSki Kitzbühel / Kirchberg (234 km of pistes). Both at a distance of ca. 10 km. View chalets and apartments in Westendorf

There are a number of easy runs available in and around Westendorf for beginners and the experienced skiers can enjoy the downhill runs in Westendorf or reach out to Hopfgarten or Brixen im Thale with the free ski bus. In Westendorf is a challenging mogul piste available that is suitable for the advance skier or snowboarder. In the Boarders Playground there are plenty of facilities available for skiers and snowboarders of all levels.

In the winter season this village is well-visited by tourists that enjoy both skiing and après-skiing. There are a lot of good après-ski possibilities! Moreover there are a number of restaurants and bars, some supermarkets and shops, an ice rink and several ski schools.

Through the village leads the 18 km long cross-country trail the ‘Brixentalerloipe’, and throughout the winter season there is a network of 148 km of cross-country trails available in the region. Hikers can enjoy themselves as well here with the broad offer in hiking paths. There is a toboggan run available of 7.5 km as well (Rodelbahn Talkaser – Schrandlhof).
