Wintersport Rauris

Friendly winter sport village with many possibilities

In the heart of the National Park Hohe Tauern, the higher valley of Rauris is situated. In the ski area Rauriser Hochalm the friendly village of Rauris is found, once known as the golden town as many prospectors in this region sought their fortune. There are two lifts departing to the ski area Rauriser Hochalm. This area is situated below the tree-line and very suitable for beginners and families with children. Furthermore, the area has enough to offer for the non-skier, such as hiking and cross country skiing.

In the small village of Rauris you can find a few restaurants, (sport) shops and supermarkets.
